SIZE: 12″ (excluding seam allowances)

TECHNIQUE: machine piecing using squares and rectangles. The pattern contains instructions for cutting out the pieces using a rotary cutter and quilting ruler and does not contain actual size templates. This pattern contains some small pieces, the smallest of which is 1″ square. As with all patchwork, for best results, cut and piece accurately.

There are so many possible colour combinations for this Halloween pumpkin. How about a dark background surrounding a vivid pumpkin with glowing yellow eyes? Or a scary white pumpkin with scarlet eyes? If you are sewing for very little witches or wizards, you could use a pale background and a soft coral for the eyes and mouth.
