Hi there!
I’m delighted you found your way here! My name is Sandra Healy and I am a wife to one and a mother to three (the Eldest One, the Middle One, and the Little One). I started sewing while still a child but didn’t discover patchwork until my twenties.
For three years I ran a company ‘Mena and Me’ which created bespoke cushions and wall-hangings. These products were sold locally and on-line. My business, happily, was booming but we quilters are a creative bunch and I always wondered if I could design my own quilts. In September 2016, I took a deep breath and launched my first patchwork designs.
If, like me, you struggle to get as much time as you would like for your sewing projects, you will appreciate that my patterns are usually for quick(-ish) projects. You will find many designs here that are suitable for a specific occasion, a baby shower or child’s birthday or festive gift ideas.
Aside from sewing, I love my garden with its little ponds of frogs and fishes. We grow our own fruit and veg, usually with mixed success! And to make up for all that fresh air and wholesomeness, I relish a good cocktail and can’t get through a day without a helping of dark chocolate.
